The Clear File Advantage
Clear File ArchivalPLUS storage pages are the finest in the world, enabling you to quickly and efficiently organize your photographic materials in the safest, most prestigious and accessible manner.

SAFETY
ArchivalPLUS pages are manufactured from a specially formulated polypropylene that has undergone a unique reining process that neutralizes residual acidity. In addition, the stitched sealing method used on ArchivalPLUS storage pages increases the airflow between pockets and therefore protects against moisture buildup and mildew.

CLARITY
ArchivalPLUS pages feature incredible crystal clear clarity and sparkling gloss. These unsurpassed optical qualities ensure superior presentation.

STRENGTH
ArchivalPLUS pages are offered in a heavier thickness than flimsier alternatives, resulting in improved durability and presentation.

LONG TERM PROTECTION
Clear File ArchivalPLUS storage pages are pH neutral and contain none of the plasticizers, catalysts, or solvents found in vinyl. Our pages will not react with or cause damage to even the most sensitive photographic materials.

RIP RESISTANT SEALS
Clear File pages feature "rip resistant" seals, a stitched sealing method that allows each seal to work independently to resist tearing, unlike straight-line seals that continue to separate completely once the rip begins.

CONTACT PRINTS WITHOUT REMOVING NEGATIVES
By placing a loaded file page (negatives must remain emulsion side down) directly on top of the printing paper, it is possible to make sharp contact prints as well as enlargements for testing and proofing purposes. Filing information prints directly from the data panels onto the contact sheet and negative frames are printed evenly spaced and squared.

WRITE-ON DATA PANELS
Our CLASSIC slide and negative pages carry a data panel, enabling faster and easier identification of stored materials. Data panels are printed in a specially formulated white ink to provide clear labeling whether written in pen or pencil. Our ArchivalPLUS pages include data panel stickers.

CONVENIENT STORAGE AND ACCESSIBILITY
Utilization of the Clear File system will provide varied storage alternatives. Prints can be displayed in albums with their appropriate negatives filed alongside or transparencies/ negatives can be stored with their contact sheets. Oversized albums and binders are also available in a wide range, from the classic to the contemporary. As another alternative storage method, select formats can be suspended in filing cabinets with the aid of a plastic hanger spine which slides inside the data panel.

Many of our customers have asked the question:
ArchivalPLUS™ or ArchivalCLASSIC™ ?

The answer is simple. ArchivalPLUS pages are manufactured from polypropylene, the ArchivalCLASSIC pages are manufactured from polyethylene. Archival pages were originally manufactured from polyethylene. These pages provided excellent "contact" clarity, however if held up to the light, an inherent cloudy quality was evident . Polypropylene is a clearer and more rigid plastic, and has generally replaced polyethylene as the material of choice.

However, ArchivalCLASSIC pages are still the first choice of many photographers that prefer its softer "feel" and satin finish. Also, ArchivalCLASSIC negative pages are recommended for contact prints over their polypropylene counterparts because lower gloss and page reflectivity enables a sharper image to be produced.
